Data science software company Devron has raised USD12 million in an oversubscribed Series A financing round, led by investment firm Tiger Global.
Existing investors FinTech Collective, Afore Capital, and Essence Venture Capital also participated in the round.
The company will use the funds to accelerate adoption of its innovative machine learning platform that enables businesses and governments to extract actionable insights from enterprise-wide, distributed data.
The Riverside Company, a global private investor focused on the smaller end of the middle market, has added Medical Marketing Solutions Group (MMSG) to its Red Nucleus platform.
MMSG is a leading provider of strategic services, scientific and medical communications, and operational and event management services to global biopharmaceutical companies.
MMSG marks the sixth add-on Riverside has completed to Red Nucleus since its initial investment in December 2019. Red Nucleus has grown rapidly and earned a reputation as a leading provider of commercialisation, medical communications and learning & development services for top global biopharma clients.
Vitesse PSP (Vitesse), a global payment, liquidity and treasury management platform, has raised USD26 million in a Series B funding round led by Prime Ventures.
The Series B funding also includes investments from Octopus Ventures, which led the 2020 Series A funding round and is one of Europe’s largest and most active venture capital investors as well as Hannover Digital Investments, the corporate venture capital fund of HDI Group, one of Europe’s largest insurance companies.
Additional participants include existing angel investors and industry heavyweights such as Ron Kalifa, OBE, former Worldpay CEO and author of the Kalifa Review and Shane
Occupier, a lease management software solution for commercial real estate tenants and brokers, has raised USD11 million in its Series A fundraising round.
The round, which was co-led by OMERS Ventures and Stage 2 Capital with participation by seed stage investors Alate Partners and Metaprop, brings the total raised by Occupier to date to USD16 million.
The company has created an intelligent tech stack for real estate management from the tenant’s perspective, automating the complicated process of lease administration, lease accounting and transaction management.
Occupier plans to double its team, hiring engineering, product, sales, customer success and marketing
Enboarder has raised USD32 million in Series B funding, bringing its total investment to USD50 million.
The round was led by NewSpring, with participation from previous investors, Greycroft and Next Coast Ventures, and new investors Golub Capital, Escalate Capital Partner, Alumni Ventures and Gaingels.
Enboarder will use the new funds to double down on international growth. With plans to double its headcount over the next year, Enboarder will also use its new capital to invest in additional infrastructure and systems to further accelerate its global growth and expansion.
Boutique lower middle market private equity firm L2 Capital Partners (L2) has sold Insight 2 Design, Inc and Elevate (collectively “Worldwide Camping Holdings”) to Clearview Capital.
This transaction represents the successful realisation of L2’s 2018 investment in Worldwide Camping Holdings.
Terms of the transaction have not bee disclosed.
Headquartered in Overland Park, KS, Worldwide Camping Holdings is a rapidly growing, multi-channel pioneer in the outdoor camping equipment industry.
Foresight Group (Foresight), a private equity and infrastructure investment manager, has made a GBP4.5 million investment in SafeGuard Glazing Supplies (SafeGuard), a specialist manufacturer and installer of glazing products, based in Peterborough.
Foresight’s investment will support the company in its next phase of growth. Investment is planned to extend the site and to invest in additional capital equipment – as well as expanding and developing the skilled workforce to meet the high customer demand for SafeGuard’s products.
This is another successful investment from Foresight’s East of England Fund which is an evergreen pool of patient capital supporting SMEs in the
FoodDocs – an specialist in the food safety industry – has raised GBP1.8 million in a funding round led by Bonnier Ventures.
Forward Venture Capital, and Spring Capital also joined the round along with existing investor United Angels VC.
The funds will be used to continue FoodDocs’ strategic growth, drive further expansion in the US and the UK to reach more clients and partners, and further improve AI capabilities.
The solutions that FoodDocs has developed are already valued by over 15,000 customers including Huboo, Smart Lunches, The Oxford Food Co., and Bolt Market. The latter company has used FoodDocs solution
Xeinadin Group Limited, a professional services group in the UK and Ireland, has agreed a strategic partnership with Exponent, a private equity firm with a proven track record in professional services.
This partnership will involve Exponent making a significant minority investment in Xeinadin to support the business’s ambitious growth plans. Subject to regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to complete in Q1 2022.

FloodFlash, a parametric insurance technology company that pays catastrophic flood claims within 48 hours, has announced a Series A raise of USD15 million.
The round was led by Chicago-based Buoyant Ventures with San Francisco-based fund Munich Re Ventures also featuring as an investor. Sony Financial Ventures/Global Brain (Tokyo), MS&AD Ventures (San Francisco) and PropTech1 (Berlin) all participated in the round alongside existing investors Pentech, Local Globe and Insurtech Gateway.
The investment comes three months after FloodFlash announced a new insurance capacity partnership with Munich Re, one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance, primary insurance and insurance-related risk solutions.
