DN Capital hires Tom Bradley as principal

DN Capital, a media and technology growth capital and early stage investor, has appointed Tom Bradley as a principal.

Bradley has been active in the UK venture capital market for nine years and most recently was a partner with DFJ Esprit in London where he was a member of the founding team.

Bradley has been involved in investing in a variety of technology and communications businesses including, a provider of online DVD rentals and movie downloads. He also sourced and executed the buyout of NetEconomy, a provider of software for financial institutions subsequently sold to Fiserv.

At DN Capital, Bradley’s focus is on software and digital media opportunities, primarily targeting growth equity deals in these segments.

His arrival continues the expansion of the DN Capital investment team. Tom Batten joined DN Capital as an investment manager from Bain and Eden McCallum in late 2008. Christina Chen joined as an associate in 2009 from Deutsche Bank where she focused on technology and cleantech transactions.

Nenad Marovac, founding partner at DN Capital, says: "We are delighted that Tom has joined DN Capital. Over the past decade, he has built an outstanding record of delivering excellent results through strong leadership, innovative thinking and sound investment judgement. Tom will lead DN Capital’s growth equity deal sourcing programme and we look forward to leveraging Tom’s track record and experience to build on the significant opportunities we see in the market.”
