Ember Infrastructure’s debut Fund I has closed with capital commitments of over $340 million, according to a report by AltAssets.
The new fund, which will invest in the energy transition and resource efficiency sectors, has completed three investments to date, including the formation of bioenergy platform ReGenerate Energy, an investment in energy storage systems Caban Systems, and an investment in solar developer SunShare.
Future investments will be aimed at assets and companies that decarbonise the economy, use resources efficiently and focus on sustainable processes across the value chain.
