Findis acquires Ronzier

Findis, a French specialist in the wholesale distribution of electrical appliances and kitchen supplies, has acquired Ronzier, a Bordeaux-based wholesaler of electrical appliance and audiovisual products.

Managed by Jean-Christophe Nicodème, Ronzier is based in the Southwest of France. It had a turnover of EUR15m in 2012 and employs 28 people.

Frédéric Jumentier (pictured), president of Findis, says: "Ronzier and Findis have similar vision; we have found in Ronzier’s team the same passion for our profession and the same enthusiasm. With this acquisition, Findis continues its uninterrupted growth for years, based on a distribution model with high added-value, focused on local stores and kitchen suppliers".

With this buy-out, which follows the acquisitions of Menatel in 2010 and Cocélec in 2012, Findis is pursuing its strategy of consolidation of the market.

"In the current context, this type of integration can sustain the activity of the acquired companies. The ongoing consolidation strengthens the potential of local business and it will continue in the coming years" says Jumentier.
