Oak Hill Capital Partners (Oak Hill) has led a transaction to recapitalise VetCor Group Holdings Corp (VetCor) alongside significant new investment from existing shareholders Harvest Partners, Cressey & Company and the VetCor management team. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
VetCor is one of the largest operators of veterinary hospitals in the US, managing 272 locations across 28 states and employing approximately 900 veterinarians. VetCor hospitals provide a full range of general medical and surgical services for pets, as well as pharmacy needs and ancillary services such as boarding, grooming, and pet products. Telemos Capital (Telemos) has completed its acquisition of a majority stake in Lovehoney, a leading online retailer of sexual happiness products.
The transaction is Telemos’ first investment in the UK. Financial details have not been disclosed.
Established in Bath in 2002 by Richard Longhurst and Neal Slateford, Lovehoney is a market-leading pure e-commerce retailer, focusing on women and couples.
Selling a mix of own label and third-party products Lovehoney has grown into an international success, delivering record sales in the region of GBP100 million for the year ended 31 March, 2018.

Private equity firm Rcapital has completed a hat-trick of deals across its investment portfolio, including the sale of Cluttons’ Middle East business based in Dubai to Savills.
Rcapital bought the property consultancy in May 2017 and the sale concludes a key step in the growth strategy for Cluttons in the UK which will continue to focus on both the commercial and residential markets.

Maranon Capital has acted as agent for a senior credit facility to support Falfurrias Capital Partners’ acquisition of Tax Guard.

Paul Hastings has represented Teleperformance SE, a specialist in outsourced omnichannel customer experience management, in the company’s acquisition of Intelenet, a major global provider of high-end omnichannel customer experience management, back-office, human resources and financial and administration services, from Blackstone (NYSE: BX) for a total consideration of USD1 billion.
The transaction is expected to close by 30 September 2018, subject to certain regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

TA Associates, a leading global growth private equity firm, has acquired and combined Global Software and insightsoftware.com International, two ERP reporting and corporate performance management software companies.
With over 6,000 enterprise customers globally and more than 75,000 end users, the combination creates the market-leading ERP financial and operational reporting platform. Financial terms of both transactions were not disclosed.
The combined company will be named insightsoftware and will be led by new Chief Executive Officer, Michael Lipps.

PPM America’s private equity arm, PPM America Capital Partners (PPM), has closed its seventh co-investment fund, PPM America Private Equity Fund VII, with a 159 per cent increase in size from its predecessor fund.
The newly closed Fund is a part of PPM’s long-standing private equity program which primarily focuses on North American middle market buyout and growth opportunities. Macfarlanes has advised healthcare-focused private equity firm Apposite Capital on the closing of its second fund Apposite Healthcare Fund II and associated vehicles at GBP144.5 million.
The fund attracted commitments from both new and existing investors including fund of funds, financial institutions, family offices and corporates from Europe, Asia and the US. Capital raised will be invested in healthcare companies across the UK and Europe.
