PNC Bank Canada Branch has completed a CAD17.1 million financing package for Doxim Solutions ULC, a provider of SaaS customer engagement solutions for banks, credit unions and wealth management firms in North America. The PNC financing included a CAD1.9 million senior secured revolver with a CAD15.2 million senior secured term loan.    The company will use the funds to refinance existing debt and for ongoing working capital.   Doxim, based in Markham, Ontario, is founder-led and a portfolio company of Strattam Capital, a private equity firm with offices in San Francisco, CA and Austin, TX.    The Doxim Customer Engagement
Stage Capital has completed its separation from NBGI, backed by funds managed by Deutsche Bank Private Equity (DBPE) and Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). DBPE and GSAM will be limited partners in the funds managed by the firm, alongside significant investment by members of the Stage Capital team.   The investors have acquired 100 per cent of National Bank of Greece’s interests in the funds under management by NBGI Private Equity for a consideration of EUR288 million, in addition to committed funding to support and build the existing portfolio.   The core senior investment team members from NBGI Private Equity
Omnes Capital is selling its stake in the Pommier Group as part of a management buyout (MBO) headed by Jean-Patrick Sauvy, supported by a consortium of investors comprising BPI, NCI and BNP Paribas Développement. Based in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône and founded in 1945, the Pommier Group is one of Europe’s leading names in industrial vehicle accessories and equipment. Omnes Capital acquired a stake in the company in 2007.   The group has three main divisions: Pommier Truck Accessories (accessories), Pommier OEM Solutions (design and production), and Pommier Dock Equipment (dock security and protection). Trowers & Hamlins has advised Apache Capital Partners on the acquisition of its new 0.77-acre Birmingham development with Moda Living. The premium purpose-built rental development on Broad Street will be delivered by Moda Living and will be fully funded by Apache Capital, the London and Gulf based private real estate investment management firm.   It will comprise of a 37-storey tower with 450 apartments and 30,000 sq ft of communal amenity space, with around 35,000 sq ft of shops, office and leisure and it will be the first major project in the city by the duo's private rented sector joint
Private equity investor Keensight Capital has signed the 2020 Carbon Initiative (IC20), a private equity initiative dedicated to managing and reducing greenhouse gas emissions among portfolio companies. Falfurrias Capital Partners, a Charlotte-based private equity firm focused on investing in growth-oriented, middle-market businesses, has purchased a majority interest in Marquis Software Solutions. Founded in 1987 by Les Kassing and based in Plano, Texas, Marquis provides data analytics software and services that help financial institutions – primarily mid-tier banks and credit unions – identify marketing opportunities and meet and monitor compliance requirements. Mid-market private equity investor LDC has backed the management buyout of PAW Holdings to support the company’s growth strategy. Founded by Alan Walker in 2001, PAW designs, manufactures and installs pre-engineered light gauge building systems.   Headquartered in Skipton, North Yorkshire, the business is on track to achieve revenues of GBP23 million this financial year.   The business employs more than 80 people across its sites which include locations in Skipton, Brighouse, Evesham and Glasgow.   Following LDC’s investment, the management team plans to further invest in its manufacturing capabilities and service offering.   The MBO was led by CEO
Debt is becoming a more significant part of the unlisted infrastructure fund industry following strong fundraising activity in recent years, according to Preqin. 2012 marked the highest level of aggregate capital raised, as 21 funds secured USD12 billion in investor commitments, but the 14 funds closed in 2015 approached that level, raising a combined USD11.6 billion.   Additionally, there are currently a record 43 infrastructure debt funds in market, seeking a combined USD25 billion in investor commitments.
