Clearlake Capital Group is to acquire Vision Solutions, a global data protection, high availability and cloud migration software provider with a proven track record of technological innovation on the IBM Power Systems, Windows, and Linux platforms – from private equity investment firm Thoma Bravo.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Kayon Partners, founded by Stephen Garrow, David Vogel and Timothy Mitrovich, has partnered with LeoGroup as sub-advisor to the LeoGroup Private Investment Access (PIA).
The arrival of Kayon Partners coincides with LeoGroup's expansion of its capabilities to service ultra-affluent individuals within LeoGroup's Multi-Family Office (MFO) platform. Alternative investment manager Franklin Square Capital Partners” (Franklin Square) business development company (BDC) direct lending platform committed over USD370 million to private deals in the first quarter of 2016.
This marks the 14th consecutive quarter the platform has provided more than USD250 million in direct commitments.

Ogier has provided Jersey law advice on the acquisition by Luxembourg-based satellite operator and provider SES SA of a controlling stake in satellite operator O3b.
SES SA will pay USD 20 million to increase its fully diluted ownership of O3b from 49.1 per cent to 50.5 per cent, bringing its aggregate equity investment in O3b to date to USD 323 million (EUR 257 million). On completion, SES will consolidate O3b’s net debt, which is currently USD 1.2 billion. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

The Aurelius Group started the 2016 financial year very successfully with total consolidated revenues for the first quarter of 2016 increasing by 58 per cent year-on-year to EUR686.4 million (Q1 2015: EUR433.9 million).
At EUR2,640.6 million, consolidated revenues on an annual basis exceeded the prior-year figure by 52 per cent (Q1 2015: EUR1,735.6 million).
