A consortium of investors led by CVC Capital Partners (CVC), including Singapore-based investment company Temasek and Vatera Healthcare Partners, has acquired a controlling stake in Alvogen, the high growth pharmaceutical company.
The stake has been acquired from Pamplona Capital Management. Aztiq Pharma, the investment vehicle led by Robert Wessman, Alvogen‘s Chief Executive will remain with a significant stake and Pamplona will also retain a small stake following the transaction. Robert Wessman will continue to serve as the company’s CEO.

Funds advised by CVC Capital Partners have signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in international musical and theatre group, Stage Entertainment.

hydropower plants in Karelia.
The agreement was signed today during the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Under the agreement two small hydropower plants, Byeloporozhskaya HPP-1 and HPP-2, will be constructed, each with a capacity of 24.9 megawatts (MW). The project aims to create new, renewable and environmentally friendly energy sources to efficiently develop the Republic of Karelia’s power system.
