Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, has sold its portfolio company HomeVestors of America (HomeVestors) to funds managed by Bayview Asset Management (Bayview), a global investment management firm focused specifically on investments in finance, mortgage and consumer credit.
HomeVestors generates proprietary real estate investment opportunities through advertising campaigns that utilise the “We Buy Ugly Houses” national brand. HomeVestors was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
The sale of HomeVestors is LLCP’s seventh successful exit in the last year, following West Academic, Best Lawyers, Caring Brands, FlexXray, Trinity Consultants and Nothing Bundt
Marcone, a distributor of home appliance, HVAC, and plumbing repair parts and equipment across North America and current portfolio company of Genstar Capital, has acquired Munch’s Supply (Munch’s), a distributor of HVAC equipment, parts and supplies, from Ridgemont Equity Partners.
Combined with its recent acquisition of plumbing distributor Professional Plumbing Group (PPG), the deal dramatically expands Marcone’s service offering. Ridgemont and the Munch’s management team will retain a meaningful minority stake in the combined entity.

Diligent, a specialist provider of SaaS solutions across governance, risk, compliance and ESG, has acquired Insightia, a SaaS provider of expert insights and intelligent analytics for listed companies, with a focus on shareholder activism, proxy voting and corporate governance.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Chicago-based private equity firm CORE Industrial Partners (CORE), has formed a new platform with ithets acquisition of RE3DTECH, a provider of additive manufacturing services with a focus on high-volume production parts.
RE3DTECH offers a comprehensive suite of in-house manufacturing services, including 3D printing, finishing, quality and assembly. The Company specialises in 3D printing utilising multi-jet fusion technologies and direct metal laser sintering to manufacture production-grade parts across both polymer and metal materials.
Worldwise, a portfolio company of middle-market private equity investment fund A&M Capital Partners (AMCP), has acquired Furhaven Pet Products, (FurHaven), a pet industry eCommerce specialist.
After the close of the transaction, FurHaven will operate under the Worldwise platform, which was acquired by AMCP in September 2021.
Headquartered in Bellingham, WA, FurHaven is a leading North American eCommerce platform for pet accessories, including bedding, home and travel supplies, apparel and more. FurHaven is also an innovator in branded product development, providing creative supply chain solutions to both eCommerce-centric businesses and omni-channel brick and mortar retailers.

Tikehau Capital, a global alternative asset management group, has acted as sole-arranger of a unitranche facility to support IK Partners’ acquisition of DA Languages (DAL), a UK-based language services provider, from Foresight Group.
The financing, extended via Tikehau Capital’s Direct Lending strategy, includes an acquisition facility to fund M&A-led growth and an ESG ratchet mechanism, which should enable DAL to reduce its borrowing costs, subject to its performance in certain ESG criteria.

Sellsy, a French provider of all-in-one CRM and FMS (financial management system) software solutions for SMEs, has secured EUR55 million in funding from PSG, a growth equity firm partnering with middle-market software and technology-enabled services companies.
Sellsy offers a fully-fledged CRM solution, including lead management, quotation and pipeline, marketing automation and contact management, coupled with key FMS functionalities including invoicing, payment reconciliation and liquidity management.

Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) investment manager Deepbridge Capital has now deployed over GBP100 million of capital via the Deepbridge Technology Growth EIS fund.
The fund was launched in 2013 as one of the first growth-focused technology EIS funds, providing private investors with access to a portfolio of early-stage investee companies across various intellectual-property-rich sectors, including energy and resource innovation, hardware technologies and IT-based developments.
