Praetura Group (Praetura), a North West UK-based debt and equity capital provider to small and medium sized businesses, has reported a record GBP253 million year as demand for its equity and debt services continues to grow.
The Group’s lending division, which comprises Praetura Asset Finance, Praetura Commercial Finance, Praetura Invoice Finance and Kingsway Finance, finished the previous year on a GBP123 million loanbook. However, over 2021 the group grew its collective loanbook to more than GBP200 million, marking its highest lending levels since it was founded in 2011 and a 62 per cent increase from 2020.

Golub Capital has announced record originations for both the fourth quarter of 2021 and the full year. The Firm closed over USD15 billion in commitments during the fourth quarter and over USD36 billion in commitments for all of 2021.
Over 90 per cent of new loans were to companies controlled by private equity firms Golub Capital has previously worked with.
The firm also led or co-led a record 38 “mega one-stops” (unitranches above USD500 million) in 2021, more than half of all mega one-stop deals completed during the period

Garnett Station Partners (Garnett Station), a New York-based principal investment firm founded in 2013 by Matt Perelman and Alex Sloane that manages approximately USD1 billion of assets, has partnered with founder Michael Ho, CEO Robert McKinley and the management team to recapitalise and provide growth capital for Mambo Seafood (Mambo), a Houston-based Hispanic restaurant brand.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Mambo Seafood was founded in 1996 by Michael Ho. The Company operates 11 locations across the greater Houston area with growth plans throughout the Southwest.
