Sound Point Capital Management (Sound Point) has closed on a senior secured term loan financing to a subsidiary of Perry Ellis International (Perry Ellis), an owner of several well-established retail brands.
Funding provided by Sound Point will be used to pay down the Company’s existing debt.
The Company has been in business for 54 years and was formerly a public company before a take-private transaction in 2018. Perry Ellis owns a diversified suite of brands which generate ample cash flow through licensing to third-party manufacturers.

Maven Capital Partners (Maven) has led a GBP5.5 million funding round for Liftango, a cloud-based technology platform which enables transport operators to optimise route planning in real-time based on passenger demand.
The transaction includes a GBP1.75 million investment from the Maven VCTs with follow-on funding from Liftango’s existing investors, which include Transdev, Taronga Ventures and GUD. Scottish Enterprise are also new investors in this round.
Liftango’s technology centres around its three core products, on-demand bus (ODB), fixed-route shuttles and carpool. The ODB and fixed-route cloud-based platform allows public and corporate transport operators to manage their services on a single platform.
BPOC, a pure-play healthcare investors, has made a strategic growth investment in Networking Packaging Group (Network Partners), a provider of consulting services to medical device and pharmaceutical companies.
Founded in 2015, Network Partners serves many of the world’s largest medical device and pharmaceutical companies, providing specialised expertise to help bring life-saving products to market. The company employs a team of over 250 professionals across the United States, offering packaging engineering, labeing, regulatory affairs, quality assurance and project management consulting services.
Financial terms of the transaction, which is effective immediately, have not been disclosed.
Dude Solutions, a SaaS provider of cloud-based operations management solutions backed by Clearlake Capital Group, has acquired Energy Profiles Limited (EPL), a software provider enabling Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) optimisation for customer facilities.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Based in Toronto, Canada, EPL delivers data-driven energy and sustainability data management and ESG reporting and predictive analytics to owners and managers of more than 6,000 buildings. The acquisition will expand Dude Solutions’ Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) capabilities to address enterprise-level energy and sustainability management.
BGF has exited its investment in North West-headquartered NSS to Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG), delivering ‘excellent returns for all shareholders’.
NSS is a specialist services provider, covering all aspects of external building maintenance – including window and technical cleaning, testing and platform hire – to the retail, commercial property, events, healthcare and distribution markets.

Octo, an IT modernisation provider for the Federal Government backed by private equity firm Arlington Capital, has acquired privately held B3 Group, an IT transformation firm specialising in digital services and technology solutions that impact the lives of military veterans.
B3 leverages low-code/no-code software and platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, Pega, and ServiceNow; large-scale data governance, integration and analytics; and cloud engineering and operations for federal healthcare customers.
B3’s leadership will remain with the company and expand Octo’s Health business to drive continued growth and customer success.
Arrowpoint Advisory has advised SP Collection ion its acquisition of the women’s designer brand, Roland Mouret.
SP Collection, a new holding company established by Han Chong, has successfully acquired the luxury brand Roland Mouret after it went into administration last month.
The brand will join self-portrait, the contemporary fashion house founded by Chong in 2013, in the newly established group that has been set up to discover, nurture, and develop best in class creativity and design.
