IK Investment Partners’ IK 2007 Fund is to sell GHD GesundHeits to Nordic Capital Fund VIII. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the transaction.   GHD, headquartered in Ahrensburg near Hamburg, is the market leader for homecare services in Germany, providing medical products and services to more than 140,000 patients.   Following IK’s acquisition of a majority stake in GHD in 2010, the company has continued to strengthen its position as an integrated provider of homecare services to patients with serious diseases. Legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright has advised financial service private equity firm AnaCap Financial Partners on its buyout of AssurOne Group, a French digital insurance broker.  Under the terms of the deal, funds advised by AnaCap and AssurOne’s management team have acquired 100 per cent of AssurOne Group from financial investors Seventure Partners and Bpifrance, who have supported the growth of the business since 2006 and 2008 respectively.    Norton Rose Fulbright advised AnaCap on the acquisition and equity arrangements and their team was led by corporate partners Richard Bull (London) and Bénédicte Denis (Paris), both of whom were supported
Clearlake Capital Group has completed the acquisition of ConvergeOne, a provider of communications solutions and managed services. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.   ConvergeOne offers one source for multivendor solutions – from initial design and implementation through ongoing consulting, technical support, and managed services across the spectrum of IT, contact centre solutions, and unified communications.   ConvergeOne maintains strategic relationships with global solution leaders, including Avaya, Cisco Systems, IBM, Interactive Intelligence and Microsoft. Prevalent has received a USD4 million growth equity investment from Fulcrum Equity Partners, a private equity firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Nordic Capital Fund VIII has invested in AniCura, a Nordic operator of companion animal hospitals and veterinary clinics. With the support of Nordic Capital, AniCura will be strengthened for the next phase of its development, through continued expansion of the business.   AniCura is currently owned by a large number of staff, the Foundation Djursjukhus i Stor-Stockholm and the Swedish investment firm Fidelio Capital. An affiliate of private equity firm HIG Capital has sold its portfolio company Vaupell Holdings to Sumitomo Bakelite for USD265 million. Financial services private equity firm AnaCap Financial Partners has completed the buyout of AssurOne Group, a French digital insurance broker. AssurOne specialises in the online distribution and management of personal insurance products, including motor and home policies.    Under the terms of the agreement, funds advised by AnaCap and AssurOne’s management team will acquire 100 per cent of AssurOne Group from financial investors Seventure Partners and Bpifrance, who have supported the growth of the business since 2006 and 2008 respectively.   Founded in 2004, AssurOne Group initially focused on the direct sale of insurance products as a single carrier supplier.
Ares Management’s private equity group has signed definitive agreements to acquire BBOG II Guarantor from EIG Management Company and Tailwater Capital, on behalf of their respective managed funds. BlackBrush has a history of acquiring and developing oil and gas assets across South Texas, which is one of the most productive oil and gas basins in the US. With new capital provided in conjunction with the transaction, BlackBrush plans to further develop its more than 160,000 net (360,000 gross) acre position.   The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2014 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
8 Miles, a pan-African private equity firm, has purchased a stake in Ugandan agribusiness Biyinzika Poultry International Ltd (BPIL) for an undisclosed consideration.
