Europe’s leading clean energy fund manager Glennmont Partners (Glennmont) and PGGM Infrastructure Fund (PGGM) have agreed the sale of one of the largest operating onshore wind projects platform in Italy to Eni. The portfolio of onshore wind assets being acquired by Eni is made up of 13 plants spread across mainland Italy and Sicily, with a total installed capacity of c315 MW, majority-owned by Glennmont. Audax Private Equity (Audax) has acquired a controlling interest in Solve Industrial Motion Group (Solve), a provider of high-quality power transmission components and industrial-grade bearings, from Incline Equity Partners.  Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Solve is a leading manufacturer and value-added service provider of highly engineered, specialty bearings and other power transmission and drive components. ArcLight Capital Partners (ArcLight) has held the successful closing of the ArcLight Renewable Infrastructure Fund SM SPV, its first continuation fund.  ArcLight has also announced the fund’s contemporaneous acquisition of a 25 per cent interest in the 192MW Sidney Murray Hydroelectric Project (Sidney Murray) from ArcLight Energy Partners Fund V (Fund V). Fund V originally acquired an interest in Sidney Murray in 2011 and aggregated a larger position through a series of subsequent acquisitions.
