Sylvan Enterprises (Sylvan) has received a GBP500,000 loan through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) ESEM Debt Finance fund and backed by the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS), managed by Maven Capital Partners (Maven).

Revere VC, a San Francisco and Hong Kong based asset management firm, has launched The Portal, a curated VC platform, and its inaugural fund strategy, the Prime Access Fund.
In addition, Revere VC also announced the close of its seed round at USD1.35 million, with participation from strategic equity investor AngelList, Twitch co-founder Kevin Lin and Thailand-based Siamrajthanee Group/SeaX founder Nattaphol Vimolchalao. The funds will be used to provide institutional investors a more holistic way to invest in venture capital, while bringing themes of productisation and curation to the asset class.

Park Square Capital (Park Square) has held the final closing of its fourth subordinated debt fund, resulting in total investable capital of EUR2.2 billion.
Park Square Capital Partners IV and related vehicles (PSCP IV) raised EUR1.8 billion of equity commitments, exceeding its target of EUR1.5 billion. Including committed leverage, the strategy’s total investable capital is EUR2.2 billion. This represents an increase of 48 per cent over its predecessor fund, PSCP III, which had EUR1.5 billion of investable capital.

The Kempen European Private Equity Fund, the private equity investment fund of Kempen Capital Management (Kempen), has acquired a direct interest in a new entity by the name of Tellus Group (Tellus) that was formed as a result of the merger of five regional campervan dealers in Norway.
Tellus was formed by the merger of five Norwegian campervan dealers with a total of ten locations. The new group employs 120 people. The ten locations are state-of-the-art motorhome dealerships, located strategically across Norway. Invizius Limited (Invizius), a biotechnology company developing treatments to suppress unwanted innate immune responses, has closed a Series A financing of GBP5.3 million.
The round was led by existing investors Mercia, Downing Ventures, Old College Capital, Scottish Enterprise, Solvay Ventures and new investors Calculus Capital and experienced life science entrepreneur and investor, Dr Jonathan Milner. Although already over-subscribed, the company’s Series A remains open to other investors until June 2021.

Drops, a project aiming to unlock additional value for non-fungible tokens (NFTs), has closed a USD1 million funding round from private investors.
The round was led by Axia8 Ventures, Bitscale Capital, Blocksync, AU21, x21, D64, Genblock, and Drops Ventures. The successful round of funding builds on Drops’ network of strategic partners which include Polkastarter, Quantstamp, 0xb1, Kyros Ventures, Zokyo, Petrock Capital and Blockstar Technologies. Drops will use the raised capital for development, marketing, operational expenses, and liquidity provision.
