Partners Group is to acquire Axia Women’s Health (Axia), a women’s healthcare provider in the US, from Audax Private Equity.
Partners Group will become the majority equity holder, while Axia’s management team and physician partners will retain a substantial minority equity stake.
Axia is headquartered in Voorhees, New Jersey, and provides a highly integrated platform of non-clinical business and administrative support services, such as accounting, HR, insurance, IT, and practice management services, to its network of physician practices across the US. Access Holdings, a Baltimore-based mid-market investment firm specialising in building enduring businesses, is supporting a partnership between its new student transportation platform, American Student Transportations Partners (ASTP), and Pennsylvania-based Krise Transportation.
Access Holdings will not only provide capital but dedicated resources and tools to support the growth of ASTP into a market-leading provider of mission critical student transportation services. MacNeill Pride Group (MPG), a diversified global designer and manufacturer of outdoor products and sporting goods, has acquired GCI Outdoor (GCI), a leading designer of portable, built-to-last outdoor recreation equipment. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. MPG is a portfolio company of Centre Partners.
Founded in 1996, GCI offers high quality outdoor recreation equipment, including portable camping chairs, camp kitchens, waterside chairs and recliners and other outdoor gear. Foxway has acquired the German recommerce specialist Flip4 GmbH (Flip4). The transaction is an important part in Foxway’s strategy to become the leading company in reuse, repair and sourcing of ICT-devices in Europe.
Foxway is one of the largest specialists in IT-lifecycle management in Northern-Europe. The group has a turnover of EUR300 million in 2020 and employs more than 700 employees. Flip4 is one of the leading Recommerce businesses in Germany with around 40 employees located close to Frankfurt. Foxway has grown with over 30 percent annually during the last years.

Metalshub, the metal industry’s first digital trading and price intelligence platform, has raised a USD11 million Series A financing round led by international growth VC Acton Capital with participation from existing investors Point Nine, Chrome Invest and several business angels. Yorkshire brand Pure Pet Food has secured another multi-million pound private equity investment, advised by law firm gunnercooke.
The additional deal with NPIF HTV Equity LP and also Mercia Fund Management Limited follows another sizeable deal for the brand with NVM Private Equity, handled by gunnercooke Corporate Partner Asad Ali two years ago.
Pure Pet Food, who appeared on Dragons Den, are an award-winning manufacturer of healthy, natural dehydrated and freeze fried pet food. The Yorkshire-based company was formed by Mathew Cockroft and Daniel Valdur Eha and since has grown to a huge global brand.

Inflexion has sold its investment in Reed & Mackay, a premium corporate travel management and events business, to TripActions, a US headquartered business travel and spend management platform.
The deal follows a nearly five-year partnership which saw the business grow strongly and adapt to the pandemic trading situation.

Golding Capital Partners is expanding into impact investing with the appointment of an experienced team of impact investors.
Andreas Nilsson and Nina Freudenberg joined the Golding investment team in March as Head of Impact and Director respectively. The duo previously founded Sonanz in 2015 as a boutique fund manager for impact investments in private equity. Golding intends to launch its first global impact private equity product for institutional investors in the second half of 2021.

Foresight Group (Foresight), an infrastructure and private equity investment manager listed on the London Stock Exchange, and Williams Advanced Engineering (WAE), have invested in Machine Discovery, a University of Oxford spin-out commercialising new machine learning technology.
The investment will be used to support the senior management team in taking Machine Discovery through its next stage of growth, assisted by Foresight Williams’ expertise in the sector.
