EV Growth, a Singapore headquartered venture capital firm, has hit the hard cap of its first fund at USD250 million, exceeding the firm’s initial USD150 million target.
This milestone is the result of the firm’s admission of new Limited Partners (LPs) which include several Asian based family offices and two of Asia’s largest sovereign wealth funds.

KKR is to acquire OverDrive, a digital reading platform for libraries and schools, from Rakuten USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rakuten, Inc. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St Louis, has partnered with management to acquire Custom Wheel House LLC, (CWH) a Los Angeles, CA-based designer, marketer, and distributor of branded automotive aftermarket wheels, performance tyres, and accessories through its brands – Method Race Wheels, Tensor Tires, GMZ Race Products, and Dusty Times, a desert racing enthusiast-focused publication.

Omnio has held the first close of a private placement, successfully raising gross proceeds of EUR15 million by issuing 23,077 shares at a subscription price of EUR650 per Offer Share.

The 298MW portfolio consists of five operating projects which generate low-cost, efficient energy: three recycled energy projects, one natural gas combined heat and power project and a 50 per cent interest in an industrial process efficiency project.
