BlackRock is planning to bring two more private equity European Long-Term Investment Funds to market in 2023, after raising €415m for the firm’s second ELTIF bringing total fundraising to almost €1 billion, according to a report by InvestmentWeek.
Aliter Capital, a private equity investment specialist focused on the UK support services sector, has completed fundraising for its second fund, Aliter Capital II, with £134 million committed by investors. 
Manhattan West Private Equity has successfully closed its inaugural fund which will target investments in the “most attractive underserved sectors” in media, entertainment and sports.  The Los Angeles-based fund will aim to provide investors with a 15% annual cash yield across the portfolio.  Investments to date include a majority stake in a new Formula 1 Exhibition, and the management buyout of live entertainment company Round Room Live, as well as a strategic growth investment in Vino Vault, a wine storage and wine services provider. The Massachusetts Pension Reserve Investment Management Board (MassPRIM) has approved an additional allocation of up to $785 million to new private equity and real estate debt investments, according to a report by Pensions & Investments Online.
One Peak, an investor in growth stage B2B software companies in Europe and Israel, has closed the One Peak Growth III fund at its hard cap of $1 billion. The fund was significantly oversubscribed, demonstrating strong LP demand. 
CVC Credit, the global credit management business of CVC, has held the final close of its third European Direct Lending fund with €6.3 billion to deploy across the European direct lending opportunities, representing a significant increase over CVC’s prior fund.
European credit specialist AlbaCore Capital Group has held the final close of its third flagship fund, AlbaCore Partners III Fund, with €2.2 billion in capital commitments, exceeding its €2 billion target. 
K2 Global, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology companies, has raised $300 million in committed capital to invest in promising technology start-ups in the food tech, climate tech and AI sectors.  K2 Global, which is led by investor Ozi Amanat, has previously backed Uber, Spotify, Airbnb, Coinbase, Warby Parker, Impossible Foods, Oatly, Allbirds, Palantir, Scopely, and Paytm. Its investments include 18 IPOs to date. Founded in 2015, K2 Global is one of the world’s largest solo venture capitalists. Adams Street Partners, a private markets investment firm with more than $52 billion in assets under management, has held the final close of the Adams Street 2022 Global Fund Program with approximately $1.1 billion in committed capital.  The Global Fund Program is a private markets portfolio spanning all of Adams Street’s investment strategies, including primaries, secondaries, co-investments, growth equity, and private credit, across North America, Europe, and Asia.   This year’s Global Fund Program saw strong demand despite market volatility, closing with commitments 20% higher than initial internal targets. Swedish truck maker Scania AB is launching a new $189.5 million (SEK2bn) venture capital fund, Scania Growth Capital II which, like the firm’s first VC fund, will be managed by East Hill Equity. The new fund will continue its predecessor’s focus on companies and entrepreneurs in the B2B tech space.  Scania’s first VC fund was set up in 2016 and has since invested in nine companies, including a seed investment in the German unicorn sennder GmbH, in 2017.  With Scania Growth Capital I now fully deployed, Fund II will invest broadly in B2B tech including software, products, solutions and services
