Audax Private Equity (Audax) has completed its acquisition of EIS, a distributor, fabricator, and converter of electrical process materials, wire, cable and assemblies serving end-user segments in electrical power and related markets. The infrastructure division of GED, GED Infrastructure SGEIC, is to sell its stake in Telecom Castilla – La Mancha (Telecom CLM) to a pan-European fund manager specialising in infrastructure Equitix. The closing of the transaction will take place after the accomplishment of the Condition Precedents (Antitrust clearance amongst others).   Once the operation is completed, Equitix will control 55% of the company. GED’s stake in Telecom CLM was initially acquired by Ahorro Corporación Infraestructuras in September 2007. GED has been managing this fund since 2015, when the private capital funds manager acquired the infrastructure fund management business of Ahorro Corporación.

Livingbridge, a UK mid-market private equity investors, has made a GBP15 million investment in Nationwide Hire, an aggregator of equipment rental and hire services. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Fareham, Hampshire, Nationwide Hire manages a network of over 4,000 suppliers based in over 9,000 locations across the UK and Ireland with access to more than five million products. With over 70 staff and turnover exceeding GBP16 million Nationwide Hire provides major plant and machinery, equipment, tools and specialist services to companies operating across a wide range of sectors including construction, facilities management, retail, events, waste management and crisis support.
Värde Partners and Agam Capital are forming a joint venture pursue the acquisition, reinsurance and management of life and retirement businesses globally. Voyager Capital, a West Coast venture capital firm focused on first-round venture technology investments, thas raised USD100 million to fuel innovation in the underserved Cascadia market, which includes Washington, Oregon, and Western Canada. Anath Capital Group, the parent company of Garraway Capital LLP, has acquired London-based fixed income specialist, Stratton Street LLP. Stratton Street is a fund management and advisory company, specialising in fixed income markets. Par Equity, an owner-managed venture capital firm specialising in identifying and supporting rapid-growth businesses, has invested GBP800,000 in Kibosh Ltd, the designer of a leaking-pipe repair kit. Ross Dickinson, a plumbing and heating engineer invented Kibosh in 2009. The kit allows professional plumbers and trades people to mend leaking pipes without having to turn off the water supply to water and central heating systems.   Par Equity’s investment in Kibosh will allow the firm to continue its plans to develop equipment to deal with leaks in pipes carrying oil, gas and other liquids.
