Reg UK (REG), the provider of a range of data analytics and risk management solutions to insurance intermediaries globally, has completed a GBP2.4 million funding round.
The additional capital will enable further investment in the platform, people and systems to support the Company’s accelerating growth trajectory both in the UK and globally. As part of the fundraising round, Disruptive Capital Finance followed on its existing capital with additional equity capital while Shawbrook arranged a debt facility.
Disruptive Capital Finance represents the private equity investment vehicle and family office of the Truell family, in which they hold the vast majority of their assets.
autologyx, a digital operations platform which automates real-world business processes, has raised an additional GBP1 million in funding.
Angel CoFund (ACF), Beacon Capital and Richard Hargreaves, an early investor in RPA business Blue Prism Group, led the round following investment in the pre-series A round in 2017.

Arcus Global Limited, a specialist in GovTech cloud solutions, has raised an additional GBP2.5 million to support its growth ambitions into 2020 and beyond.
The proceeds will be used to accelerate the growth of the business and continue investment in its transformative product portfolio, including further development of Arcus’ local government software platform and recently launched AI-powered voice solution, Arcus Answer. In the financial year ended 30 June 2018, Arcus delivered annual revenues of GBP13.0 million representing 34 per cent year-on-year growth.
The funding is primarily from existing investors, principally led by funds advised and managed by YFM Equity Partners
Alantra CPA, the credit and real estate portfolio advisory division of Alantra, has acquired a majority stake in urbanData Analytics (uDA), a tech company that offers big data and artificial intelligence services in the real estate sector.
The company gathers market information from more than 40 public and private sources to develop 190 financial and urban context indicators, generating algorithms to maximise the return in real estate investments.

The transaction is subject to the approval of the shareholders of the seller, Aptitude Software Group.

The rising trend of private capital investment is being well serviced in Guernsey due to the island’s flexibility to meet investors’ sophisticated requirements, sector experts agreed at the 2019 Guernsey Funds Forum.
In the decade following the global financial crisis, private wealth has doubled in nominal terms, and private capital has become a significant source of investment for fund managers, particularly in Guernsey’s specialist sector of private equity funds.
