Gennx360 Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on underperforming industrial business-to-business companies, has appointed W. Andrew Shea, an attorney with nearly two decades of investment banking and private equity experience, as a managing partner.

Shea, 43, has successfully invested more than USD1bn in a diverse group of middle market businesses including the nation’s fourth largest window manufacturer, a prominent protective equipment manufacturer, and a large oilfield services company.

He most recently served as a principal of New York-based Allied Capital where he managed multiple deal teams in the firm’s New York office. Prior to that, he served as a partner at Ardshiel and a principal at Lincolnshire Management executing investments for the firm’s USD315m Lincolnshire Equity Fund II.

Shea also held senior positions at Merrill Lynch, Inverness Management and Bear Stearns.

"Drew has an extremely impressive track record executing successful mergers and acquisitions that result in substantial savings and yield significant returns, and he is a valuable addition to our senior management team," says Ronald Blaylock, a Gennx360 founder and managing partner.

Shea is a former board member of Atrium, Riddell Sports Group, and 3SI Securities Systems.
