Macquarie Asset Management has appointed Ben Taylor as a Managing Director within the firm’s Client Solutions Group focusing on investor relations, product development and capital raising for its private credit business in the Americas.
This senior hire supports the asset manager’s continued growth in the private credit market in the region and with Taylor’s addition, the Private Credit team boasts a deep bench of over 65 origination, execution, portfolio monitoring and client service professionals.
Based in New York, Taylor brings more than a decade of alternative investment and institutional private credit markets experience to the role. He rejoins Macquarie Asset Management from Audax Private Debt, where he oversaw the insurance solutions efforts across the company’s private debt platform and expanded investor relationships on a global basis.
Before Audax Private Debt, Taylor served as a Managing Director at Pinnacle Trust Partners, where he launched and raised capital for new private credit strategies with a focus on insurance-oriented investment solutions.
