Procare Software, a portfolio company of private equity firm TA Associates, and a specialist in child care management solutions, has completed an acquisition of KidReports, a provider of real time reporting technology and services to child care providers. Funds advised by private equity firm Trilantic Europe have sold the their 25 per cent stake in Betty Blue to designer and entrepreneur Elisabetta Franchi, who as a result now controls 100 per cent of the share capital. Elsen, a Platform-as-a-Service company for large financial institutions, has raised USD2.4 million in a seed extension round led by Hyperplane Venture Capital with participation from Accomplice, Launch Capital and hand-picked angel investors from the startup and financial community. As part of the investment, Hyperplane managing partner, Jack Klinck (pictured), who previously spent nearly two decades in executive roles at State Street and BNY Mellon, will join the company’s board of directors as Chairman.   This investment brings Elsen’s total funding to USD2.9 million since the company’s inception in 2014. Foresight Group has launched the FP Foresight UK Infrastructure Income Fund, an FCA-approved, actively managed fund that will invest in UK listed renewable energy and infrastructure fund/investment company equities and bonds. Blue Water Energy has held the final closing of Blue Water Energy Fund II (BWE Fund II), with total commitments over USD1.1 billion, surpassing its target of USD1 billion after securing further commitments from a number of new limited partners. Blue Water Energy, founded in 2011 by Jerker Johansson, Tom Sikorski and Graeme Sword, closed its inaugural Fund I in May 2013 with USD862 million of commitments and now has a portfolio of eleven companies in this fund. Tikehau Capital is to sell its stake in the real-estate promoter Nafilyan & Partners in three stages to the Belgian property developer Immobel.  Tikehau Capital invested a total of approximately EUR8.9 million (including EUR7.7 million in bonds and EUR1.2 million in capital) in Nafilyan & Partners between July 2014 and May 2016 and currently owns a 15 per cent stake in the company before capital increase.   The sale is scheduled to take place in three stages.
