ISS was the successful bidder in a structured auction process.

A consortium comprising the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Singapore’s Changi Airports International (CAI) and Russia’s Basic Element is to acquire Vladivostok International Airport in Russia’s Far East from Sheremetyevo International Airport.
Upon regulatory and corporate approvals, the consortium will own 100 per cent of JSC Terminal Vladivostok which owns and operates the airport terminal building, and 52.16 per cent of JSC International Airport Vladivostok which holds the airport license.
RDIF, CAI and Basic Element each hold an equal interest of 33.3 per cent.

Global law firm Dechert has advised Mid Europa Partners on its acquisition of Profi Rom Food, the largest supermarket chain in Romania, from Polish Enterprise Fund VI.
This is the largest deal ever completed by a private equity fund in Romania and the largest retail deal in the country’s history.
Profi is a modern retail network with the widest geographical spread in Romania. It operates from almost 500 stores and had sales of EUR800 million in 2016.
Profi is one of the top employers in Romania with nearly 11,000 employees.

Venture capital firm Draper Esprit has acquired a 30.77 per cent stake in Elderstreet Holdings, the holding company of Elderstreet Investments, with an option to acquire the balance of the Elderstreet shares in due course.
Elderstreet is a UK venture capital trust (VCT) manager. It manages Elderstreet VCT which currently has assets in excess of GBP25 million.

Zarvic Brothers has launched the Vero Fund which is aimed at providing investors with broad exposure to a portfolio of alternative private equity investments managed by experienced partners, such as commercial real estate and merger arbitrage strategies.
The new Vero Fund is based on the same Zarvic strategy which has produced an annualised return of 36 per cent on recent years.

Private equity firm Wellspring Capital Management has completed its acquisition of Hoffmaster Group, a North American manufacturer of disposable tableware, from Metalmark Capital.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
