Based in Secaucus, New Jersey with an additional facility in Dartford, UK, Caligor provides services that enable pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to maximize the value of their clinical supply chain investments. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Financial services private equity firm AnaCap Financial Partners has sold Simply Business, a UK-based digital SME insurance distributor, to Aquiline Capital Partners.
The transaction is subject to completion upon change of control approval from the Financial Conduct Authority and is expected to complete in this summer. The exit comes just short of 3 years since the initial investment and will generate a return of 4.5 times AnaCap’s investment.

Medical diagnostics company STAT-Diagnostica has closed a Series C financing round totalling EUR25 million (USD28.5 million). The proceeds will be used to prepare for the 2017 European launch of its DiagCORE Near Patient Testing system.

Causeway Capital has launched the Causeway Capital Partners I, a new EUR60 million private equity fund which will support growing small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Ireland and the UK.

Private equity firm Strattam Capital is to partner with Blacksmith Applications’ management team to make an investment that will support expansion of the product suite in response to growing customer demand.
