Prime Trust, a one-stop shop for financial infrastructure for fintechs, has closed a USD64 million Series A funding round.
The timing of the raise coincides with the firm having crossed USD100 million in annual revenue-run rate and 250 million API calls per month from its B2B customers. This is the first institutional round of funding for Prime Trust.

Fintech, broker and asset management company Darwinex has raised EUR3 million to pursue its ambitious growth aspirations.
Leading investors in the round were Stefan Jaecklin and Pinorena Capital who were joined by Darwinex co-founders and a number of key employees in the company. Pinorena Capital, a fintech-focused investment company led by entrepreneur Illimar Mattus, has contributed with this first investment to supporting Darwinex expansion journey.
Darwinex is regulated by the FCA in the UK (Tradeslide Trading TechLimited – FRN 586466) and its latest financial figures show revenue for the financial year 2020 jumping by 72 per cent, exceeding EUR4.69 million.

Specialist business advisory firm FRP has reported a record 12 months during which its corporate finance and debt advisory team advised on 81 transactions with a combined enterprise value of GBP1.9 billion.

Energy Impact Partners (EIP), a global investment platform leading the transition to a sustainable energy future, has launched the Elevate Future Fund (Elevate), which aims to create a more diverse founder community and inclusive venture capital ecosystem within the broader energy transition.

A medtech company, which has developed a new biomaterial used for 3D printing medical implants, has completed a GBP1.6 million funding round.
The investment into Nottingham-based 4D Biomaterials was led by DSW Ventures and backed by the MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund, which is managed by Mercia and part of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, Mercia’s own funds, and existing investor SFC Capital.
The funding will be used to develop a range of products through partnerships with medical device companies and expand its team with the creation of five new jobs at its premises in MediCity.
