Hedgehog Markets, a decentralised prediction markets platform built on the Solana blockchain, has raised USD3.5 million in a seed funding round.  Investors include prominent venture and digital asset firms Reciprocal Ventures, Republic Labs, Alameda Research, Divergence Ventures, MGNR, and Manna. Hedgehog also received a grant from the Solana Foundation. Galway Sustainable Capital (GSC) has entered into a new, broad-based funding partnership with funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management,  (Oaktree).  Under the terms of the deal, GSC secured a minority equity investment and closed a new, multi-year, multi-tranche credit facility with Oaktree. GSC is private equity backed by lead investor Cordillera Investment Partners. Equistone Partners Europe (Equistone), one of Europe’s leading mid-market private equity firms, is to sell a majority stake in Bruneau to TowerBrook Capital Partners.  The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval and consultation with employee representative bodies. Aquila Capital and Axpo, a Swiss renewable energy producer and specialist in wind and solar energy trading, have agreed on a series of power purchase agreements (PPA) and representation services for a solar PV portfolio located in Portugal. Turquoise, a UK merchant bank specialising in energy, environment and efficiency, has announced its tenth deal for the Low Carbon Innovation Fund 2 (LCIF2), a GBP250,000 investment in pH sensor company ANB Sensors (ANB).  LCIF2 led the GBP997,000 equity round which included Hatch Accelerator Fund and Applied Technology Ventures as co-investors.   ANB was founded in 2015 to develop and commercialise next-generation, calibration-free pH sensor technology that is robust enough to use in hostile environments, including the deep ocean where measurements help in modelling the impacts of climate change. iCapital Network, a global financial technology platform focused on access and efficiency in alternative investing for the asset and wealth management industries, has raised USD440 million in funding round led by Temasek, with participation from Owl Rock, a division of Blue Owl Capital; MSD Partners; Noah Holdings and Golub Capital.  Additional commitments came from existing investors WestCap, Ping An Voyager Partners, Blackstone, UBS, Pivot Investment Partners, BNY Mellon, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Global private markets firm Partners Group has agreed, on behalf of clients, to acquire Reedy Industries (Reedy), a US-based heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) service provider, from Audax Private Equity.  As part of the transaction, the Reedy family, management, and Audax, will remain minority investors in the Deerfield, Illinois-headquartered business. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021. Founded in 1930 with a 90-year history, Reedy provides mission-critical maintenance, repair and replacement services for commercial HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, building automation, and controls equipment in the US.
