Headquartered in Clearwater, FL, AAMP is a leading global supplier of vehicle and related consumer technology solutions within the integration, infotainment, high-performance audio, safety, and connectivity product categories. The Company maintains relationships with a broad set of customers across light vehicle, marine, powersports, agricultural, and commercial fleet end-markets. Under Audax ownership, AAMP completed nine add-on acquisitions and significantly increased revenue.

Despite political and economic uncertainties, 2019 is once again proving to be a busy year for venture capital in Spain. The industry is experiencing an increase in mega deals, resources and growing competition in the context of high sales multiples and easy access to bank and/or alternative financing.

ARQIS has advised the selling shareholders on the sale of INTORQ, a manufacturer of brakes and clutches for electric drives and a specialist in spring-applied brakes in Europe, to Kendrion.
The completion of the transaction is subject to customary conditions and is expected in the first quarter of 2020.
The combination with INTORQ creates a leading industrial brake company with a comprehensive offering in an expanded number of growth markets in Europe, China, the US and India. Specific shared end-markets include electric motors, wind power and elevators. Complimentary markets include geared motors, forklifts, cranes and hoists.

Investcorp, a global provider and manager of alternative investment products, and China Everbright Limited, a Hong Kong based alternative investment firm in Greater China, are combining their investment teams investing in the Chinese technology sector.
The combined team and investment committee, will jointly manage the China Everbright New Economy Fund I. In addition, Investcorp and China Everbright intend to explore the opportunity to establish a successor private equity fund, jointly managed by the two parties, to further access China’s technology sector.
