KPS Capital Partners (KPS), through a newly formed affiliate, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the fitness business of Brunswick Corporation, including the Life Fitness brand (Life Fitness) for approximately USD490 million in cash.
Life Fitness is the global leader in commercial fitness equipment and game tables. The Company manufactures and sells its strength and cardiovascular equipment and billiards tables and accessories under the brand names Life Fitness, Hammer Strength, Cybex, Indoor Cycling Group, SCIFIT and Brunswick Billiards. The Company’s products are sold in more than 160 countries.

The Instant Group, which was backed by Bowmark Capital last year, has acquired Incendium Consulting, an independent Corporate Real Estate Consultancy.
Incendium was set up by its six founding partners in 2015 and provides large real estate services procurement, consulting, and change management programmes to blue-chip clients.

Anacapa Partners, a private equity firm focused on acquisitions in the lower middle market, has sold Krueger-Gilbert Health Physics (KGHP), a diagnostic medical physics provider, to Blue Sea Capital LLC. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Towson, Maryland, KGHP is a market-leading, full-service, comprehensive diagnostic medical and health physics consulting group. KGHP’s client-focused team of physicists provides critical compliance services to some of the most progressive hospitals, imaging networks, private practices and research facilities nationwide. Anacapa invested in KGHP in 2014.

ClearCourse Partnership has acquired Crafty Clicks, a specialist data provider and address validation platform. Crafty Clicks is ClearCourse’s seventh acquisition since its foundation in October 2018, representing an expansion of the Partnership’s technological capabilities.
Crafty Clicks was founded in 2008 to provide the UK market with a postcode lookup and validation solution. Since its foundation the company’s scope has expanded significantly, and it now offers clients international address data spanning over 240 countries and regions. The company provides clients’ websites, ERP, CRM and POS systems with full-service integration of its address validation service through its market-leading application programming interface (API).
SunBridge Partners (SBP), a venture capital firm targeting investments in enterprise software specialists in the US and Japan, has sold its holdings in Kyriba Japan, a Japan-based joint venture between Kyriba Corporation (Kyriba) and SunBridge, as part of Bridgepoint’s recent investment in Kyriba.
SunBridge Partners teamed with Kyriba in 2012 to help establish its Japan operations via SBP’s proven Japan-entry Joint Venture (JV) model. Previous SunBridge Japan entry JVs also include Concur Japan, Marketo Japan and Demandware Japan. Private investment and alternative finance specialist IW Capital has provided a GBP1.83 million loan to Inglenook Inns and Taverns Limited. The loan represents the latest funding round for Inglenook to help grow and consolidate its regional presence across the North West of England.
The business will use the loan to further expand its portfolio and underpins the next stage in the development of the company through the acquisition of another three freehold/long leasehold sites and the provision of growth capital. The Darwen-based pub group now owns or manages 40 pubs.
IW Capital structured the loan on behalf of its
London-based investment fund, Fuel Ventures, has invested GBP2 million in online tutoring platform, Tutor House, which connects parents and families with tutors either in-person or online.
The site, which is run by education professionals, allows families to search for tutors across an array of subjects and academic levels.
An online and in-person tutoring agency that aims to give all students access to affordable tutoring, group retake courses and educational support, no matter their level or ability, has secured investment from London-based VC fund, Fuel Ventures.
