Mid-market private equity firm Equistone Partners Europe has completed the sale of managed print services provider Apogee to HP Inc in a deal that values the company at GBP380 milllion. Maidstone-headquartered Apogee employs over 1,000 staff and operates from 25 office locations across the UK and Europe. It has grown turnover to over GBP250m this year, becoming one of Europe’s largest independent providers of managed print services.   The business provides organisations including SMEs, corporates and the public sector with printing, scanning and workflow solutions from global brands including HP, Ricoh, Canon, Xerox and Konica Minolta.   Equistone took a

A fund managed by Horizon Capital is to acquire a minority stake in Ukrainian biscuit producer Yarych. Yarych is the second largest packaged biscuits producer in Ukraine, holding a 33 per cent share of the packaged biscuits market with its branded Maria, petit beurre and The Crackers biscuits. Following receipt of regulatory approval from the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), Centaur has completed its purchase of Luxembourg Capital Partners SA and is now open for business in the Grand Duchy.
