Monroe Capital LLC (Monroe) has closed its Monroe Capital Opportunistic Private Credit Fund I with approximately $500 million of investable capital, including targeted fund leverage. The Fund has limited partner commitments from over 75 investors located across the US, Asia, Middle East and Europe. Aaron Peck and Kyle Asher, Managing Directors and Partners of Monroe, are co-Heads of Monroe’s Opportunistic Private Credit Group.     The Fund received $286 million of LP commitments, plus targeted leverage of approximately $215 million.
Worldwide insurance and asset management company AXA, global consumer goods company Unilever, and global alternative asset management group Tikehau Capital, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This outlines their ambition to create an impact fund dedicated to accelerating and scaling the regenerative agriculture transition.

Capital Dynamics, an independent global private asset management firm, has closed Capital Dynamics Mid-Market Direct V (MMD V), the firm’s latest co-investment fund. MMD V was over-subscribed compared to its initial target of $500 million and closed with $578 million in capital commitments.  This fifth fund significantly surpassed the size of its predecessor, which closed in January 2017. MMD V comprises existing and new investors to Capital Dynamics including pension funds, insurance companies, family offices and high net worth individuals from the United States, the Middle East, Asia and Europe.
Talos, the provider of institutional digital asset trading technology, has secured a $105 million Series B funding round that values the company at $1.25 billion, according to a report from PR Newswire. The round was led by global growth equity firm, General Atlantic with participation from veteran investors in both the traditional finance and digital asset spaces.  These include: Andreessen Horowitz, PayPal Ventures, Castle Island Ventures, Fidelity Investments, Illuminate Financial, Initialized Capital, and Notation Capital also extended their partnerships with Talos through this newest funding round. The Spanish Association of Capital, Growth and Investment (ASCRI), which represents the venture capital and private equity industry in Spain, has driven the private capital industry’s evolution towards investing for a sustainable future, with a strategic rebranding process. Granite Creek Capital Partners, LLC, a private investment firm based in Chicago, in partnership with Knox Capital Holdings, LLC, has invested in Bundle, a national provider of compliant real estate document preparation services, to support its acquisition of Rosenberg LPA LLC (RLPA). Together, the two make up the largest document preparation company and will continue to provide the best of process-improvement technology, coupled with the benefits of an experienced panel of attorneys. As part of the Granite Creek investment in Bundle, Partner and Co-Founder Brian Boorstein will join its board.
