Kpler, a provider of technology-led data, analytics, and market insight, has secured a strategic growth investment led by Five Arrows and Insight Partners with the two firms invest over $200 million to acquire a minority stake in the business.
The investment is the first external fundraising initiative for Kpler, which has been bootstrapped since its foundation in 2014. In doubling its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in the last 18 months and conducting two self-funded acquisitions (ClipperData & JBC Energy) since last September, the company has positioned itself as a leading firm in the next generation data & analytics space.
EMZ Partners (EMZ) has sold its shareholding in Hamburg-based spice manufacturer, Ankerkraut, to Swiss food conglomerate, Nestlé.
The sale marks the debut exit of EMZ’s Munich office and returns well over 2.0x MoM in less than two years. The transaction is subject to antitrust clearance, while the parties have agreed not to disclose terms.
EMZ invested into Ankerkraut in September 2020 alongside the founder and the management team. The company grew rapidly during EMZ’s holding period into one of the leading spice brands in the DACH region.

OSF Digital, a provider of digital transformation services to companies worldwide, has raised USD100 million in a Series C investment round led by Sunstone Partners.
Existing investors Delta-v Capital and Salesforce Ventures also participated in the round.
OSF Digital will utilise the funding to accelerate service capability expansion, sales and marketing, industry-focused solutions, and aggressive mergers and acquisitions. In addition, OSF will focus on innovative product development and providing leading digital transformation solutions to its customer base at a greater velocity using AI and a tech-enabled team of consultants.

Middle market private equity firm One Equity Partners (OEP) has closed One Equity Partners VIII (OEP VIII), with committed capital of $2.75 billion.
Thanks to strong demand from investors, the fund was significantly oversubscribed, and the hard cap was increased.
The closing of OEP VIII brings the firm’s combined assets under management and committed capital to approximately $10 billion.

Newly-formed Meriwether Group Capital (MWGC) has launched this month to make commercial loans available to businesses that fall outside the criteria required by traditional lenders.
The MWGC Hero Fund focuses on small to mid-sized companies that meet the fund’s revenue qualifications and financial needs. Global alternative investment firm Investcorp has launched a private infrastructure investment business in North America.
The new platform will apply the firm’s global expertise and track record in real estate and private equity to make investments in critical infrastructure companies and projects across North America.
