Schulte Roth & Zabel has added Peter Greene, Benjamin Kozinn, and Eileen Overbaugh as partners based in the firm’s New York office. Yellow Wood Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm focused on investing in consumer brands and companies, has closed Yellow Wood Capital Partners III at its target and hard cap of USD750 million in limited partner capital commitments. FirstPort, a UK residential property services company, is being acquired by Emeria, a European specialist in residential real estate services, from the company’s previous majority shareholder, the mid-market private equity investor Equistone Partners Europe Limited (Equistone). FirstPort will operate as a subsidiary of Emeria, with its existing management team remaining in place and reinvesting in the group. The financial terms of the deal are undisclosed and completion of the transaction remains subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority.   FirstPort works with developers, investors, freeholders and over 1,300 Resident Management Companies (RMCs) to provide services to leaseholders.  Emeria is
Integra Therapeutics, a biotechnology company that creates next- generation gene writing tools, has closed an additional EUR1.5-million investment from venture capital firm Columbus Venture Partners. This investment comes on top of the EUR4.5 million Integra Therapeutics raised last December from AdBio Partners, Invivo Capital and Takeda Ventures and completes its seed round in line with the company’s set goals. The new funds will go to support development of the FiCAT platform prototype and preclinical validation with in vivo and ex vivo models.

Arowana Impact Capital (AIC), the impact investing arm of global B Corp investment group, Arowana, has completed a cornerstone investment in Green Antz, producer of eco-friendly construction materials operating in Southeast Asia. Green Antz converts plastic waste from commercial establishments and communities into value-added construction materials, such as bricks and pavers. Green Antz does this through its network of EcoHubs across the Philippines, which serve as collection sites, production facilities, and recycling education centres.  This strategy enables Green Antz to tackle Asia’s burgeoning plastic waste problem, whilst offering cost-effective and environmentally responsible alternatives to traditional building materials.
Stanley Capital (SCP), a mid-market private equity firm focused on growing sustainable businesses in the Healthcare, Technology and Resource Efficiency sectors, and Applied Artificial Intelligence Corporation (AAICO), a artificial intelligence (AI) technology company headquartered in the UAE, are partnering to bring artificial intelligence to private equity investing.
