Airbus Ventures has invested in Bcomp’s oversubscribed Series B financing of CHF32.4 million alongside a group of mobility, financial, and impact investors led by BMW i Ventures. An advanced provider of eco-efficient Natural Fibre Composites (NFCs) for performance and weight reducing applications, Bcomp will use this new funding to scale its workforce, increase its domestic and global production capacity, and strengthen its commercial footprint.
ICR Capital, the broker-dealer affiliate of strategic communications and advisory firm ICR, has hired Michael Goldberg as a Managing Director in its Equity Capital Markets group. Goldberg will advise corporate management teams and financial sponsors across all industry verticals on the full spectrum of public and private equity transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, block trades, SPACs and convertible offerings.
Audax Private Equity (Audax) has completed a strategic growth investment in Flow Control Holdings (FCH), a provider of sanitary flow components to producers of foods, beverages and pharmaceuticals. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Phil Pejovich, CEO of FCH, will continue to lead the Company alongside the existing management team.
Revecore, a provider of revenue integrity and complex claims solutions for health systems, has been acquired by private equity firm GrowthCurve Capital, alongside management and existing shareholder Riverside Partners. The investment from GrowthCurve will allow Revecore to build on its market leadership in specialised healthcare revenue recovery while accelerating investments in its proprietary technology platform to deliver additional value to health systems nationwide. GrowthCurve, Riverside, and Revecore have also announciedthat Dave Wojczynski, former President of TransUnion Healthcare, has been appointed CEO and will lead the strategic direction of the business.
Fireside Ventures, an early-stage, consumer focused venture capital investors, is targeting between USD150 million USD200 million for its third fund, according to a report by VCCircle. The report credits people familiar with the matter for the information with Fireside said to be in talks with LPs about soft commitments. The firm’s predecessor fund, Fund II, secured around USD118 million in capital commitments, surpassing its original target of USD100 million, while Fireside’s debut fund raised USD52 million at final close in March 2018.
ClimeCo, a global company that focuses on developing and trading environmental commodities and advising clients on emerging environmental market solutions, has raised over USD50 million in an investment round led by Warburg Pincus, a leading global growth investor, and The Heritage Group, which made ClimeCo’s first outside capital investment in early 2021.
JST Capital (JST), a global financial services firm specialising in digital assets, has appointed Martin C Grant as global head of regulatory affairs & integrity. In his new role, Grant will be responsible for navigating the evolving digital asset regulatory environment on behalf of JST. He will work within JST to ensure best practices and will also be a resource for the firm’s clients and will continue JST’s discussions with global regulators as they work to adopt policies for the evolving digital asset markets.   
Coro, an all-in-one cyber security platform for mid-market organisations, has raised USD60 million ins a Series C round of financing, bringing the total funding raised by the business in the last six months to USD80 million. The lates round has been led by Balderton Capital, with participation from existing investor Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP).  The funds will be used to further accelerate company growth, which has already seen significant momentum with 300 per cent year-over-year growth for each of the past three years and into 2022. RockX, one of Asia’s largest crypto staking providers, has completed a USD6 million Series A funding round led by Amber Group. Other prominent crypto industry leaders including Matrixport, Primitive Ventures, FBG Capital, Draper Dragon, IMO Ventures, Alpha CW and Megastake also participated in the round. RockX will use the funds to enhance its product and service offerings, as well as grow its team to better meet the increasing global demands for quality staking and data services.  The completion of this funding round values RockX at USD30 million.
