Align Capital Partners (ACP) has closed its second strategic add-on for Marco Rubber & Plastics (Marco) with the acquisition of Anchor Rubber Products (Anchor), a value-added provider of O-rings, gaskets and other specialty rubber products sold across a diverse set of end markets. Operating under the leadership of second-generation family owner Mike Shannon, Anchor currently services customers within various industrial end markets. Founded three decades ago by Bob Shannon, Anchor has grown to service customers throughout the Northeastern United States.  This acquisition further expands Marco’s specialty product offering of custom gaskets and O-rings while also increasing the Company’s leadership position

Private Markets Rally to New Heights, a comprehensive analysis of the dynamics and performance of the private investing industry, encompassing private equity, real estate, debt, and infrastructure and natural resources, shows that fundraising was up by nearly 20 per cent year over year to reach a record of almost USD1.2 trillion. In addition, dealmakers were busier than ever, deploying more than USD3.5 trillion across asset classes, while assets under management (AUM) grew to an all-time high of USD9.8 trillion as of July 2021, up from USD7.4 trillion the year before. Private equity continued to drive global growth in private markets.
TELEO Capital Management (TELEO) has acquired CHCS Services (CHCS) from Capgemini America. CHCS is a technology-enabled third-party administrator (TPA) for the senior health and eldercare markets. CHCS specialises in supplemental health care solutions for senior markets with a focus on long term care (LTC) and Medicare Supplement (MedSup) plans.  CHCS provides third-party administration and support as well as customized care management solutions and services for accident and health, disability, all Medicare supplement plans, and other forms of supplemental insurance policies for global insurance carriers.
The Mothership one of the UK’s fastest growing eCommerce rollups, has raised USD22 million in funding from leading entrepreneurial private investors. The investment will be used to expand the company’s portfolio of loveable, more sustainable brands.   Amongst the investors are Glenn Elliott, founder of Reward Gateway and now part of Tenzing Private Equity; Jonathan Quin, founder of payments business World First; Adrian Thompson, CEO of Aspen Pumps; Simon Morrish, who has founded and grown several successful businesses, including Ground Control; and Giles Palmer, founder of BrandWatch.
UC Berkeley SkyDeck, a global hub for entrepreneurship and a leading accelerator, has closed SkyDeck Fund II with USD60 million in capital commitments. The oversubscribed fund is nearly three times larger than Fund I and features a diverse set of returning and new investors including leading venture capital firms within Silicon Valley.  The SkyDeck Fund is the dedicated fund of Berkeley SkyDeck, University of California, Berkeley’s largest accelerator. WHAG, a provider of housing and support services to homeless women, and men and women experiencing and fleeing domestic abuse, has received its first social investment loan of GBP2.15 million from Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC). WHAG was set up as Rochdale Women’s Housing Aid Group in 1981, to provide affordable supported accommodation to homeless women aged 16-65. It was the first organisation in Rochdale to support this group of people. PwC is using the Diligend platform to enhance different service offerings including delegate oversight, business partner due diligence, as well as KYA checks under AML for its clients. The of upper limit of Motive Partners’ latest fund has been increased to US2 billion ahead of its expected closing in the next few weeks, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal. Investors agreed to the change by the New York-based firm, which is partly owned by Apollo Global Management Inc and Capital Constellation Inc, with the cap having originally been set at USD 1.5 billion. If the fund hits its new target it will be four times the size of its predecessor fund Motive Capital Fund I, which closed with capital commitments of USD473 million in 2019. 
French-Nigerian B2B startup Kwik (www.Kwik.delivery), a provider of SaaS logistics services to social vendors and e-commerce platforms in Africa, has closed a USD2 million Series A round. The round was led by XBTO Ventures, an investor focused on digital asset and fintech investments, along with investments from several new and existing shareholders, including venture fund HUMLA Ventures, Leo STIEGELER, founder of Pulse, Africa, French tech investment holding NABUBOTO, Ubisoft’s CEO Yves GUILLEMOT.  Kwik is focusing on building digital services for the three key pillars of last-mile delivery, e-commerce and fulfilment, and financial services.
