Global corporate, private client and fund services provider, Hawksford, has appointed Sowmitra Singh as M&A Director – a new role within the business. Singh, who boasts more than 12 years’ experience in business consulting and M&A, has previously worked for companies including Deloitte and EY, gaining valuable experience in the financial and professional services industries.    In his new role, Singh will work closely with Hawksford business leaders to identify critical M&A opportunities, as well as help to deliver end-to-end M&A transactions through planning, financial analysis, transaction structuring, and due diligence.

Investor and developer Rocket Properties has refinanced its Linen Court development in London’s Shoreditch area with a six-year, GBP70 million term loan facility provided by M&G’s Real Estate Finance team. The funding was arranged by real estate advisory firm Moorhall Capital on behalf of Rocket Properties. Located just off Old Street’s ‘Silicon Roundabout’, Linen Court is a 150,000 sq ft mixed use scheme that was originally completed by Rocket Properties in 2012.
