Omnipresent, an SaaS-based global employment partner, has raised USD120 million in a Series B funding round led by Kinnevik, a European growth investor, and Tencent, a global technology company. Uncorrelated Ventures, a San Francisco-based investor, also participated, rounding out an investor list from Asia, Europe, and America.  The amount includes a pre-Series B round in the second half of 2021 and follows seed and Series A rounds in April 2020 and December 2020.
Nene Capital, an opportunity focused investor in UK SMEs, has acquired Seeco, a specialist precision engineering business based in Bedfordshire, UK, in a deal supported by FRP Corporate Finance. As part of the deal, the existing management team will remain in place for the foreseeable future and support Nene Capital to identify and appoint suitable successors in due course. 
Private equity firm, Limerston Capital, has acquired Largo Leisure, a Scottish-based holiday park operator and announced leisure industry veteran, Andrew Howe as its Executive Chairman. Largo Leisure is the first platform investment in Limerston’s second fund, with the first closing occurring simultaneously with the transaction.    Largo Leisure offers self-catering lodge, caravan and glamping holidays across four parks located in Letham Feus in Fife, Braidhaugh Park in Perthshire, Sauchope Links near Crail and Loch Tay in Perthshire. The business was founded in 2003 by Rupert Barret and is targeted at a premium market, successfully capitalising on sustained consumer trends favouring
L Catterton, a global consumer-focused private equity firm, is to acquire LTP Home Services Group (LTP), a residential plumbing and HVAC services platform operating in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, from Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP). TSCP will retain a board seat and minority stake in the Company.  Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Insurance Advisory Partners, a specialist insurance M&A, strategic and capital-raising advisory firm, has appointed Jonathan Hull as partner, effective 18 April following a period of gardening leave. Hull’s considerable insurance and insurtech experience will complement that of founders Tony Ursano and David Kimmel. A new joint venture between Hafslund Eco, Infranode, and HitecVision is to acquire Fortum Oslo Varme, Norway’s largest district heating provider. The  transaction values the company at about NOK20 billion (EUR2 billion).  The company delivers sustainable district heating and power to commercial and residential properties throughout Oslo, providing heating and hot water to more than 200,000 people. Following the transaction, Hafslund Eco will become the majority owner with 60 per cent ownership in Fortum Oslo Varme, while Infranode and HitecVision will have significant minority position of 20 per cent each.
CORE Industrial Partners (CORE), a Chicago-based private equity firm, has acquired Southern Lighting Gallery and Charleston Lighting and Interiors (collectively SLG), a provider of indoor and outdoor residential lighting fixtures, by CORE portfolio company Saylite. Specialising as a one-stop shop for all residential lighting, ceiling fans and decorative accessory needs, SLG provides an unmatched level of customer service alongside an industry leading product offering.  SLG offers end-to-end customer service, including custom design work up paired with post-installation maintenance services.
Monroe Capital (Monroe) has closed a USD457 million term debt securitisation – Monroe Capital MML CLO XIII, LTD. The term financing was Monroe’s eighth new issue CLO completed since 2018 and is secured by a portfolio of middle market senior secured loans. Monroe sold securities rated from AAA through BB as well as Subordinated Notes. Monroe and its affiliates retained a majority of the Subordinated Notes in the transaction. Deutsche Bank served as the Lead Manager, Structuring Agent and Bookrunner, with Raymond James serving as Co-manager. Capitolis, the technology company reimagining capital markets, has raised a USD110 million Series D at a USD1.6 billion valuation, driven by the rapid emergence and market acceptance of its marketplace solutions. The fundraise is co-led by top fintech investors Canapi Ventures, 9Yards Capital, and SVB Capital. Existing investors in Capitolis include a16z, Index Ventures, Sequoia Capital, S Capital, Spark Capital, Citi, State Street and JP Morgan. To date, Capitolis has raised USD280 million. True Global Ventures’ (TGV) portfolio company Forge Global Holdings (Forge), a global private securities marketplace, has completed its business combination with Motive Capital Corp (MOTV), a special purpose acquisition company sponsored by affiliates of Motive Partners, on the New York Stock Exchange on 22 March, 2022. This combination allows Forge to become a publicly traded company on the NYSE. The partnered company together with MOTV will be renamed Forge Global Holdings, with the common stock and warrants to be traded on the New York Stock Exchange beginning on 22 March this year. They will be listed under the tickers “FRGE”
