BEX Capital, an investment firm focused exclusively on secondaries in private equity fund-of-funds (FoF), secondaries funds and co-investment funds, has closed BEX Fund IV at USD765 million, in excess of its USD600 million target.
This was the first close of BEX Fund IV, with fundraising completed in only three months. BEX Capital received strong support from existing investors who increased their commitments to BEX Fund IV by 50 per cent. The oversubscribed fund closed in excess of its USD600 million target at USD765 million.

Global private equity firm Advent International has acquired a minority stake in Medius, a provider of source to pay solutions.
Following the deal, Marlin Equity Partners remains Medius’ majority shareholder.
The terms of the transaction, which sees Douglas Hallstrom, Director at Advent join the Medius board, have not been disclosed.

IsoTruss, an engineering, design, and manufacturing services provider, has raised USD4.5 million in a Series A funding round led by the SG Koenig Trust.
The funds will be used to scale up operations and accelerate production of patented IsoTrust carbon fibre cell towers in support of 5G rollout by telecom infrastructure providers. 5G is forecast to cover approximately 60 per cent of the world’s population in 2026.
The fundraising follows a USD3 million seed investment round led by the Sojitz Corporation of Japan in October 2020.
ConnectionPoint Systems Inc, a platform for collaborative funding, has raised USD1.5 million for the launch of CoCoPay, the first community-centric healthcare payment solution that tackles the issue of quality care affordability.
