Robocast Inc, which owns the patents for the now ubiquitous AutoPlay for Streaming, has secured 2 NRP Managers – an investment group led by Benjamin Lurie – as lead investor for its B round.
A personal follow-on investment has also been made by the group’s Chief Administrative Officer Theodore (Ted) Theophilos. Others plan to follow shortly.
Benjamin Lurie is Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of 2 NRP Managers, the investment office for Ann Lurie and various Lurie Family trusts. He is a seasoned investment professional who focuses on evaluating new investments and monitoring existing investments in technology, services and real estate.
London based private equity company Yellow Brick Capital has launched i-Plant Nutrition, an expansion and rename of its precision agriculture software – Smart Fertilizer Software.
The rename is a required next step brought on by the software’s increased capabilities and improvement.
Alongside the pre-existing synthetic fertiliser related offering, i-Plant Nutrition is now also providing sensor less-irrigation guidance, a knowledge sharing platform and soon to include organic fertiliser recipes and excitingly, pest control management. The rebrand signifies a new era for the company as it continues to expand its usership in the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Africa.

TradeRisks, a specialist provider of debt structuring and advisory services to the infrastructure sector and part of Gresham House plc, has secured a GBP100 million private placement for Apex Housing Association (Apex), one of the leading housing associations in Northern Ireland.
Apex will use the funds, provided by specialist insurer of defined benefit pension funds, Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC), to refinance short-term debt facilities and to develop approximately 1,500 new high-quality affordable homes across Northern Ireland. The homes will include additional energy-efficiency features, such as solar panels, to ensure high environmental standards.

Taxfyle has closed an oversubscribed USD20 million Series B financing round led by Fuel Venture Capital and IDC Ventures.
As the company seeks to expand upon firm outsourcing opportunities across the US markets, the funding will support Taxfyle’s exponential growth by adding key personnel to further develop the Taxfyle Platform, and its recruiting efforts to double the number of tax professionals.

London-based fuel cell company Bramble Energy has closed a GBP35 million investment round to help further expand its capabilities in solving key challenges in the production and implementation of hydrogen fuel cell stacks.
The investment has been led by HydrogenOne Capital Growth plc and is supported by the existing institutional investors (BGF, IP Group, Parkwalk Advisors and the UCL Technology Fund) and will allow Bramble Energy to roll out its portable power products globally as well as continue to develop its liquid cooled fuel cell stack capability.
