Epic Gardening, an online gardening destination founded by Kevin Espiritu has secured an investment of USD17.5 million from The Chernin Group (TCG).
Founded in 2013, Epic Gardening is a trusted resource for millions of enthusiast and aspiring gardeners who want to grow their own food and learn creative gardening techniques. Originally started as a hobby for Espiritu, Epic Gardening now has over three million social followers, 10 million lifetime podcast downloads and 10 million blog visits in 2021.

PDQ.com, a provider of IT asset management software backed by private equity firm TA Associates, has acquired SmartDeploy, a specialist in remote computer management.
The acquisition comes just months after PDQ.com acquired SimpleMDM, further enhancing its value proposition to the broader IT community by making device management easier from start to finish.
SmartDeploy manages Windows devices offline, on-prem, or through the cloud, making it well suited for every computing environment. IT professionals can easily manage drivers, applications, patches, and scripting through SmartDeploy’s single-image management and patented device driver injection technology.
Avision Sales Group, an Osceola Capital portfolio company, has completed the acquisition of two additional companies: OneSolution and JJ Shearer Company.

Nexxus Iberia Private Equity has completed a capital increase to acquire a significant minority stake in Solutex, a manufacturer of highly concentrated Omega 3.
Founded in 1995 by Dr Fernando Moreno and Verónica Olaya based in Madrid, Solutex produces Omega 3 natural ingredients from fish and algae oils, which are mainly used for pharma and food supplement products.

SK AeroSafety Group (SK), a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), has acquired Fire-Tec Aero Systems (Fire-Tec).
HTEC Group (HTEC), a global consulting, software engineering and digital product development company, has secured a USD140 million investment from Brighton Park Capital (Brighton Park), a growth equity investment firm that specialises in partnering with growth-stage software, healthcare and tech-enabled services businesses.
HTEC will use this investment to further scale its capacities to deliver industry-leading products and technologies to its growing global customer base.

HIG Capital, a global alternative asset manager with over USD47 billion of equity capital under management, has added Dyice Ellis-Beckham and Sergei Schmidt to the firm’s Capital Formation Group.

Cytovation AS, a clinical stage immune-oncology company has closed its Series A financing round, raising a total of NOK180 million (USD20 million).
The Series A round was led by Sandwater, a Norwegian venture capital firm that invests in groundbreaking companies across a range of industries including life sciences, and Canica, a large, privately owned investment company operating out of Norway and Switzerland focused on building highly innovative companies that aim to create value for investors and society as a whole.

ArmorCode, a specialist in AppSecOps, has secured an additional USD8 million in a seed financing round led by Cervin Ventures with participation from Sierra Ventures.
The firm’s previous USD3 million funding round was supported by Tau Ventures, and several prominent Cybersecurity leaders, including founders of Demisto and RedLock.
The company will use these new funds to extend its AppSecOps platform capabilities and expand the company’s go-to-market efforts.

Donini joined ATL in 2019 from Goldman Sachs where she was an associate in the Investment Banking Global Industrials Group. Exum joined ATL in 2019 from Lindsay Goldberg where he was an associate and worked across a variety of sectors including industrials and government services.
