Houston-based ESG Enterprise, a US provider of ESG software as a service (SaaS) and a data analytics platform covering NGOs and governmental bodies, has partnered with specialist ESG data and scoring platform GaiaLens.
ESG Enterprise is an SaaS application with ESG data on over 40,000 public, private, municipal and non-profit organisations. Much of this data goes into assessments and reports covering organisations’ activities in more than 100 countries.
GaiaLens analysis covers over 16,000 public companies, with market leading insight into ‘hard to identify’ social and governance data as well as environmental data. This includes data on themes linked to the
Arcano Partners, an independent financial advisory firm specialising in alternative asset management, has expanded into the Italian market with the opening of a new office in Milan.
The firm has hired Paule Ansoleaga Abascal as the new Managing Director of Arcano alternative asset management in Italy to head up the new office, which is in via Dante No7, at the heart of Milan’s financial district. The company already has a presence in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Seville, New York and Los Angeles.

Maven Capital Partners (Maven) which manage two debt funds on behalf of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) across the West, East and South East Midlands, has now deployed over GBP60 million of MEIF loans, to 116 businesses, creating 420 new jobs in the region.

The Scottish Dental Care Group – a national dental provider, offering the full range of NHS and private treatments – has secured a multi-million pound minority investment from BGF.
With a turnover of GBP11 million, Scottish Dental Care Group currently operates 15 clinics across the central belt, Dumfries and Galloway, the Highlands and Grampian. This includes the recently acquired Castle House clinic in Inverness, and the Grandholm and Granite City clinics in Aberdeen. BGF’s multi-million-pound investment will enable the growing dental group to implement ambitious growth plans in the coming years through the continued acquisition of high-quality clinics across Scotland.
Exponent has agreed to acquire a majority stake in H&MV Engineering (H&MV), a specialist in high voltage (HV) electrical engineering.
An affiliate of global alternative investment firm HIG Capita has acquired an interest in Titan Storage Solutions (Titan).
Titan is a self-storage operator and owner of five assets which provide a total of space 142,000 sq ft.

Novus Capital Corporation II has completed its business combination with Energy Vault (Energy Vault), a company developing sustainable, grid-scale energy storage solutions.
In connection with the completion of the business combination, Novus has been renamed Energy Vault Holdings, Inc (the “Company”) and its common stock and warrants are expected to commence trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Monday, 14 February, 2022 under the ticker symbols “NRGV” and “NRGV WS” respectively.
