GTCR, a private equity firm founded in 1980, has opened offices in New York City and West Palm Beach, Florida, establishing new locations to support its investment capabilities and broaden its talent acquisition initiatives.
GTCR’s offices in Chicago will continue to serve as the firm’s headquarters and center of operations and will continue to account for the majority of the firm’s employees.
The New York office is currently located at 450 Park Avenue and the West Palm Beach location is 515 N Flagler Drive. GTCR also plans to move to offices at 425 Park Ave in New York following

(Eckhart), an automation solutions provider from LFM Capital. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Eckhart’s advanced engineering, design, simulation, and integration services, along with proprietary tooling and other automation and robotics systems, support customers at critical points in the automation value chain.

Adams Street Partners, London-based global private markets investment firm, has promoted Benjamin Wallwork to Partner and Yohan Hill to Principal.
Wallwork is part of the Co-Investments team with a specific focus on leveraged buyout and growth equity. Prior to joining the firm, Wallwork was an Investment Associate on the UK deal team with Bridgepoint Advisers, and has also worked as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.

Ara Partners (Ara), a private equity firm that specialises in industrial decarbonisation investments, has promoted James Wang to Managing Director and Mary Kathryn Nommensen to Senior Associate.
Wang joined Ara as a Principal in July 2018 and has been instrumental in transaction execution, sourcing, portfolio management, and investment realisation.
Nommensen meanwhile, joined Ara as an Associate in October 2020 and has played a key role in transaction execution and portfolio management, covering Repeats Group, Circulus, Anesco and Utility Global.

The closed-end mutual investment combined fund, VTB Capital’s pre-IPO Fund, has announced an investment of USD9.1 million in Ventra Go! a service that orders temporary staff services of mass professions.
This becomes the fifth company in the fund’s portfolio in which shareholders’ funds have been invested. In December 2021, the Pre-IPO Fund raised a further USD39.2 million) and the fundraise was oversubscribed indicating heavy interest in the product from investors.
