European private equity firm IK Partners, via the IK Small Cap III Fund, is to acquire FCG, from international private equity group Bridgepoint.
The deal, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
FCG is a GRC services provider, offering advisory, outsourcing, GRC technology and fund administration services to the financial services industry.

CBPE Capital (CBPE) has completed its investment in Direct Commercial Limited (DCL) and Carraig insurance Company Limited (Carraig) (together Direct Commercial Group, DCG) alongside Phil Cunningham (founder and CEO) and Management.
DCL is a commercial motor insurance specialist. As a full-service MGA (Managing General Underwriter/Agent), DCL provides underwriting services, offers policy administration and in-house claims handling.
The group also includes Carraig, an insurance carrier based in Gibraltar, which provides insurance capacity to DCL alongside Munich Re Group.
Phil Cunningham remains majority shareholder and fully committed to the business during the next phase of growth.

BluePeak has partnered with Ethos Mezzanine Partners, to jointly invest USD31.5 million in Grit in a transaction led by Ethos Mezzanine Partners.
The transaction marks the inaugural investment from the BluePeak Private Capital Fund SCSp (the Fund), an impact-linked private credit and mezzanine finance facility raised during the Covid-19 pandemic. BluePeak designs innovative financing solutions to scale mid-sized African businesses.

Actis, a global investor in sustainable infrastructure, has appointed Neda Vakilian as Managing Director of Global Relationships within its Investor Development Group.
Vakilian is based in London and will be responsible for the coordination and management of strategic investor initiatives, fundraising project management, and product development for Actis. Vakilian will report to Neil Brown, Global Head of the Investor Development Group and her appointment follows that of Charles Daulon du Laurens, Head of EMEA Sales, who joined Actis last September.

Pan-European growth debt platform, Atempo Growth (Atempo) has held the first close of its debut fund, with commitments of over USD200 million.
