Moglix has reached an important milestone by becoming the first industrial B2B commerce platform, in the manufacturing space, to become a unicorn.
The company is said to be valued at USD1 billion in its latest USD120 million Series E funding round. The latest investment was led by Falcon Edge Capital and Harvard Management Company (HMC). Healios – a UK online therapy platform for children and young people with mental health and neurodiverse conditions – has raised GBP7 million in a Series A round led by InHealth Ventures with participation from existing investors AlbionVC.
The funding will enable Healios to widen its provision and meet the significant and rising demand for mental health support among children and young people. Veteran deal lawyer Jason K Zachary has joined Haynes and Boone, LLP as a partner in the firm’s Corporate Department and a member of the Capital Markets and Securities, Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Practices.
Zachary will split time between the firm’s Denver and New York offices and will be an important part of the firm’s growth initiatives on the west coast.
Zachary regularly advises boards of directors and senior management of corporate clients, as well as private equity and venture capital investment funds and their portfolio companies in a range of complex business transactions and corporate governance
Black Box Intelligence (BBI), a portfolio company of Diversis Capital Partners, is to acquire restaurant industry benchmarking firm MillerPulse LLC. The move comes just four months after Diversis acquired a majority stake in Black Box Intelligence.

Brentwood Associates (Brentwood), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, has closed the Brentwood Associates Opportunities Fund, with USD190 million in capital commitments.
The fund has has completed the purchase of selected legacy assets from two of Brentwood’s prior funds and provided liquidity to its investors.
The transaction, which was led by Spring Bridge Partners, with significant backing from Hollyport Capital and other institutional investors, provides capital and additional flexibility to support the growth of the portfolio companies included in the transaction.

The transaction follows Nordic Capital’s initial investment in ArisGlobal, a provider of innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for the life sciences industry in 2019 and subsequent years of significant growth for the Miami-based company. Hayden AI Technologies, Inc (Hayden AI), a smart city solutions provider, has closed a USD4.5 million funding round led by BootstrapLabs, an early-stage Silicon Valley venture capital firm focused on Applied Artificial Intelligence.
This brings the company’s total funding to USD9.5 million, including a USD5 million seed round from last year. The new funding will go towards accelerating the development and delivery of AI-powered solutions aimed at enabling governments to achieve their goals of safer streets, equitable transportation, and efficient urban mobility.
