Cazoo Holdings Limited (Cazoo), a UK online car retailer, and AJAX I, a publicly-traded special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), have signed a definitive business combination agreement.
AJAX is a USD805 million SPAC, founded by renowned US investor Dan Och in partnership with Glenn Fuhrman and a team of strategic advisors including the founders of Chipotle, Instagram, Square and 23andMe. Atlas Holdings (Atlas) has held the first and final close of its fourth private equity investment fund, Atlas Capital Resources IV LP (ACR IV) at its hard cap of USD3.1 billion.
The latest fundraising, which began in November 2020, means Atlas now manages more than USD6.0 billion of capital.

Hamburg-based real asset specialist Aquila Capital acquired renewable energy assets across Europe in 2020 amounting to over 3.0 gigawatt.
