ARQIS has advised the listed Swiss technology group Oerlikon on the acquisition of D-Coat, a German supplier of diamond coating technologies. The Parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.The acquisition is a further step in Oerlikon’s strategy to strengthen its surface coating portfolio. Rothschild & Co has completed the fundraising for Five Arrows Secondary Opportunities V (FASO V) at EUR1.0 billion, which is now the 16th fund raised above its expected target by the company’s Merchant Banking business over the last 10 years. This brings the total assets under management to approximately EUR13 billion across four strategies: corporate private equity; senior and junior credit; primary and secondary fund investing; and co-investments.
