NorthEdge Capital has completed the sale of Direct Healthcare Group (DHG) in a secondary buyout by European healthcare specialist investor ArchiMed. The deal sees NorthEdge secure a thrtee-times return on its initial investment, with an IRR of 39 per cent. Over two-thirds (69 per cent) of chief financial officers (CFOs) and chief operating officers (COOs) at UK-based private equity and venture capital firms expect levels of dry powder – money raised but not yet invested – to increase in 2020.
