Private equity firm Shore Capital Partners has held the and final closings of its third institutional healthcare private equity fund, Shore Capital Healthcare Partners Fund III (HC Fund III), and its inaugural food and beverage fund, Shore Capital Food & Beverage Partners Fund I (F&B Fund I).  HC Fund III raised USD293 million, while F&B Fund I raised USD148 million. With these respective closings, Shore now manages a total committed capital base of more than USD1 billion.   HC Fund III surpassed its original target of USD250 million and was substantially oversubscribed. Estera, a global provider of funds, corporate and trust services, has supported Hipgnosis Songs Fund with its first fundraise – significantly exceeding its target in the process. Hipgnosis Songs Fund is a Guernsey-registered fund investing in songs and musical intellectual property rights trading on the Specialist Fund Segment of the London Stock Exchange (LSE). It was founded by Merck Mercuriadis, the former manager of Beyoncé, Elton John, Morrissey, Iron Maiden and Guns N’ Roses. Cytora, a provider of AI-powered solutions for the commercial insurance industry, has secured GBP25 million in Series B funding round led by the EQT Ventures. Other participants include existing investors Cambridge Innovation Capital, Parkwalk, and a number of angel investors. China Ping An Insurance Overseas (Holdings) Limited, together with its subsidiaries (PAOH), the main overseas investment and asset management platform of Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, has closed the Ping An Global Infrastructure Funds with USD758 million in capital commitments. “The Funds were partially seeded by Ping An with fund investments and co-investments.
