The value of regulated funds serviced in Jersey saw double digit growth to reach a new all-time high while bank deposits also increased over the course of 2018, according to the latest figures to be collated by the jurisdiction’s financial regulator the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC).  Figures for the final quarter of 2018 (ending 31 December 2018) show that the net asset value of regulated funds under administration in Jersey grew 10 per cent annually to stand at GBP319.9 billion, the highest recorded figure to date, while the value of bank deposits held in Jersey grew 4 per cent
Eurazeo Capital has entered into exclusive discussions with funds managed by Montagu Private Equity to acquire DORC (Dutch Ophthalmic Research Center).   Eurazeo Capital will invest close to EUR300 million in this transaction. DORC will be the fifth investment of Eurazeo Capital IV. Online investment platform Seedrs has launched full customisation in its AutoInvest product allowing users to select their personal investment criteria with the product then building them a portfolio of early-stage private companies automatically. Private investor Rcapital completed a franchisee-led buyout of Cash Generator on 1 March 2019. Keensight Capital, a private equity manager dedicated to pan-European Growth Buyout investments, has held the first and final closing of its new fund, Keensight V, at the fund’s EUR1 billion hard cap, exceeding the fund target of EUR750 million. The fund was substantially oversubscribed with strong support from existing LPs, as well as new investors from Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.
