Sidley Austin has appointed Mark Knight as a partner in the firm’s London office. He will be a member of Sidley’s global Restructuring practice.
Knight is experienced in leading multijurisdictional restructurings on both the creditor and debtor sides. Before joining Sidley, Knight served as a partner and general counsel of an investment platform that services non-performing loans in some of Europe’s most challenging restructuring jurisdictions, including Greece and Italy. Prior to this, Knight was a partner in the restructuring group of an international law firm where he advised clients on the acquisition, disposal and reorganisation of distressed businesses.

Albion Capital is seeking to raise up to GBP36 million through top up offers for its six venture capital trusts.
The fundraising targets GBP6 million for each of the six Albion VCTs: Albion Venture Capital Trust PLC, Albion Development VCT PLC, Albion Enterprise VCT PLC, Albion Technology & General VCT PLC, Crown Place VCT PLC and Kings Arms Yard VCT PLC. Investments spread across all six portfolios will receive a monthly dividend with a yield of approximately 5.5 per cent, or 7.8 per cent after tax relief, a potentially attractive income source in the current low interest rate environment.

Lovell Minnick Partners, a private equity firm specialising in financial and related business services companies, has acquired ATTOM Data Solutions (ATTOM), a provider of national real estate data and analytics.
Lovell Minnick acquired ATTOM from Renovo Capital and Rosewood Private Investments. Financial terms of the private transaction have not been disclosed.

Mid-market private equity investor LDC has completed the sale of procurement specialist Inprova Group Limited (Inprova) in two separate deals.
In December 2018, AIM-listed Inspired Energy plc acquired Inprova’s energy division, with the existing management team acquiring the non-energy procurement business upon completion.
