Vector Capital, a private equity firm specialising in transformational investments in established technology businesses, has sold Triton Digital (Triton), a technology provider to the audio streaming and podcast industry, to The E W Scripps Company for USD150 million. Based in Los Angeles, Triton provides audio publishers with measurement, streaming, ad serving and audience engagement solutions in over 40 countries. The Stanhope Entrepreneurs Fund (SEF), a growth capital fund managed by Stanhope Capital, has completed its first investment, acting as the lead investor in a circa USD90 million equity raise into S4 Capital (S4), a digital advertising and marketing services company established by Sir Martin Sorrell earlier this year. JenCap Holdings has agreed to acquire privately held Special Risks Facilities, an MGA/contract binding authority and wholesale insurance brokerage firm based in Sterling Heights, Michigan with another office in Peoria, Arizona. Special Risks was formed in 1971 and is led by Jack Klebba and Randy Kaszeta.   JenCap Holdings (JCH) was formed in March 2016 by The Carlyle Group and JCH management to consolidate specialty insurance distribution businesses, including managing general agents, program managers and transactional wholesale brokers. Alternative investment firm Värde Partners has held the final close of the Värde Asia Credit Fund with approximately USD400 million of committed capital. The fund, which exceeded its USD250 million target and closed after six months, is the firm’s first Asia-dedicated vehicle. Some USD200 billion will be invested into Healthcare Infrastructure over the next five years, according to a new report published by Octopus Group based on a global survey of institutional investors. The investment opportunity is driven by the current shortage of good quality housing to suit later life which is urgently needed to accommodate the growing numbers of retirees and elderly, as highlighted in the research.   The report is based on a survey of institutional investors which had a collective USD6.8 trillion of assets under management.
