Private equity fund manager and central and eastern Europe specialist, ForeVest Capital Partners, has closed a general partner-led secondary transaction of a fund on which it advises, PineBridge New Europe Partners II, LP (NEP II).
In this transaction, a new investment fund, advised by ForeVest, has acquired portfolio companies from NEP II. Framework, a global solutions vendor for Private Equity (PE) and Real Estate (RE) investments, has appointed Alan Naughton as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
Naughton brings with him more than 30 years of global banking and investment servicing experience acquired in multiple geographic locations in leading financial institutions. Most recently, Alan was head of Standard Chartered Bank’s securities services and corporate agency and trust business, based in Singapore, having joined in 2012 from JPMorgan in London where he had been Head of Commercial Management for the Global Funds Division since 2008.

Tailwind Capital (Tailwind), a middle-market private equity firm investing in targeted sectors within healthcare, business services and industrial services, has closed Tailwind Capital Partners III with USD1.8 billion of capital commitments.
The fund, which exceeded its initial target and was oversubscribed, will pursue the same investment strategy Tailwind has employed since its inception – partnering with experienced management teams and entrepreneurs in North America to transform businesses through organic growth initiatives, acquisitions, and operational and strategic investments. Tailwind primarily targets companies with enterprise values up to USD250 million.
